Tuesday 17th Mar 2015

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing D6244 Old Town, from Church Street to College Street to vehicular traffic. The closure is required for carriageway patching.

The Order will commence on 17 March 2015. 

An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Chestnut Walk, Evesham Place, Evesham Road, Sanctus Road, Sanctus Street (and in reverse order).

Sunday 15th Feb 2015

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing B439 Evesham Road, from the junction of Shottery Road to the junction of Brownlow Drive from 15 February 2015.

Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of the road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

Sunday 18th Jan 2015

During certain hours on Sunday 18 January 2015, a route starting from Longford Lane (also known as Boundary Lane) continuing along Alveston Hill, Banbury Road, the top end of Knights Lane from the Loxley Road to the entrance of the NFU Sports and Social Club, will be thronged or liable to be obstructed on the occasion of the Not the Roman 1X Road Race.

From 22 September, 2014, carriageway patching is scheduled to close John Street, Stratford-upon-Avon.  Pedestrian access to and from properties will be maintained at all times and vehicular access where possible.

Wednesday 19th Mar 2014

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing C93 Bishopton Lane from the junction of Barn Lane to Timothy’s Bridge Island to vehicular traffic and The Avenue & St Peter’s Way at their junction’s with Bishopton Lane, vehicular access and egress via Birmingham Road only.

The closure is required for Toucan crossing surfacing.

The Order will commence on 19 March 2014 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.  However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 20 March 2014.

Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

The order will commence on 27.1.14 and will last for a period of 18 months.  However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31.1.14.

The footpath will be closed between Drayton Avenue and Sackville Close to all traffic.  Access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length od the footpath to be closed, will be maintained where possible

Work will commence on 20 January, 2014 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier.  The Closure is required to install a new water main.

The Works will be carried out between 21.00hrs and 6:00hrs nightly with anticipated completion by 1 February, 2014.

Pedestrian access to and egress properties and land situated adjacent to the road being closed will be maintained at all times.

Should you wish to speak on a particular planning application, you must register with the Planning Clerk (Hannah Robson) by 12.00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the Town Council’s Planning Consultative Committee meeting which is normally held on a Tuesday evening.  This can either be by email or in writing.
